Overweight Causes
Although many people believe that overweight is a result of overeating oneself and lack of exercise, however, those who know someone with overweight problems or have overweight problems themselves know very well that that is not always the case. Each person is special and causes for overweight greatly vary from person to person. There are many factors which determine one's weight and for that reason some people can eat what ever, when ever and as many they want without any effect on their body weight, while the others have great difficulties with maintaining of normal weight regardless to diet and exercise.
Causes of overweight greatly vary from person to person although all experts agree that excess weight is usually caused by one or more of following factors: overeating, time and way of eating, genetic predispositions, lack of exercise, metabolic and eating disorders, hormonal imbalances, stress, alcoholism, smoking cessation, age (with age decreases physical activity and metabolic processes slow down) and psychotropic medications. However, as already mentioned each case is unique.
Since overweight has different causes in each person different weight loss therapies, diets and products have different effects on each person as well. Despite that all who are trying to lose weight should follow certain directions such as changing diet, to be adequately physical active and to learn stress management but before starting any weight loss therapy or products it is necessary to visit a doctor to eliminate eventual diseases which may be also the cause of overweight in some people such as hypothyroidism and metabolic disorders. However, since change of diet and exercise often are not enough effective many people are helping themselves with various weight loss products which either either target the central nervous system and block the appetite either impact the metabolic processes by increasing the body's metabolism or prevent absorption of certain nutrients in bloodstream.
